Purple Power Smoothie

I’m loving my breakfast in a glass, can you tell??! It’s an easy and quick way to get a serving of nutrient dense vegetables in right at the start of the day. Plus fiber, superfoods, protein, a bit of fruits. Perfect!

Ingredients:

(serves 2)

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 small bananas (or one large one)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cucumber (organic, skin on)
  • 2 cups kale
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • squeeze of lemon
  • 1 cup water

Preparation:

  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into two tall glasses and enjoy!
