I personally do love it all on it’s own, tart and slightly fizzy but if you want the benefits of kefir along with a bit of sweetness and flavor, here is a nice alternative way to enjoy this beneficial drink:

Ingredients:

(serves 1)

  • ½ cup kefir
  • 1 small banana
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 tsp raw honey

Preparation:

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
